One of the most important lessons I've learned as a parent of two is that in order to get things done and to continue living "life," babywearing will save you! Not a day goes by that I don't wear my busy toddler. Whether it be a 5 minute cuddle, a 30 minute grocery excursion, or a 2 hour nap, my little lady and I have some special moments when she is nestled against me.
It hasn't always been roses and sunshine though. In the beginning, when I was learning to juggle two and the art of babywearing, there were days when I couldn't get her in fast enough or days when I wished I could just lay her down for a nap. Looking back, I wouldn't trade any of those moments. They were learning experiences for me and I have chosen to become a Volunteer Babywearing Educator (VBE) for our local Babywearer's International of Phoenix group in order to continue learning and to help other moms survive life after baby and maybe even pee once or twice!
The clip below is a very basic beginners carry.
